PRICES
In the event of delays, backorders or sold-out items, we endeavour to inform you as soon as possible and what we can do about it - e.g. give you a refund or help you find a similar item elsewhere.

PAYMENT
HAUSDESLICHT accepts payment with VISA, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Klarna. The payment will only be charged to your account when the item is dispatched. All amounts are in Euro's and incl. VAT.

We do not charge card fees.
If you pay via PayPal, you are not protected by the objection scheme. Read more about the terms and conditions on PayPal's website.

DELIVERY
HAUSDESLICHT endeavours to ship orders within 24 hours from the time of purchase.

We ship to all of Europe. Your items are sent with DHL - we will NOT cover any duties and expenses that arrive for the order.

NOTE: If there is no space at the delivery point, your parcel will be moved to the nearest delivery point, which you will be notified of. If there are any problems, please contact customer service.

Goods are delivered every weekday. Your item will be delivered 5-7 business days after placing your order.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
There is a 2-year warranty in accordance with the European Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or workmanship.

If the complaint is justified, you can have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.

The complaint does not apply to faults or damage caused by incorrect handling of the product/service. You must make a complaint within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect/fault. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be considered timely.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging. Remember to get a dispatch receipt so that we can reimburse your shipping costs. Please contact us before returning your product to make it as easy as possible.

Cash on delivery shipments are not accepted.

REFUND
In the case of a refund, please include bank details in the form of reg. no. and account no. so that the agreed amount can be transferred. The information can be provided by email or other electronic form, as it is not sensitive information and will only be used for our fulfilment of the refund.

RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of cancellation when you shop with us. The cancellation period expires 14 days after you have received your product.

The deadline means that you have 14 days from receiving your product to notify us that you want to cancel your purchase. You must send an email to: info@hausdeslicht.com.

You can also use the standard cancellation form, which you can find at the bottom of the terms and conditions.

You cannot cancel your purchase by refusing to receive the goods without notifying us at the same time.

Should you cancel your purchase where a free gift is delivered with the order itself, the entire order must be returned. Alternatively, you can keep the free gift and receive a refund of the difference.

RETURN
Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

You must pay for the return of the parcel yourself, and you are liable if damage occurs during transport. This means that you bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery until we have received it back.

When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packed. To facilitate the processing time, you are welcome to include a copy of the order confirmation in the parcel.

If you wish to send the item back to us, we can help you with labelling and we will then credit the shipping costs to your refund.

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to accept the goods without giving clear notice.

NOTE: Products and orders cannot be refunded or returned during periods of sales, special promotions or special discounts.

THE CONDITION OF THE GOODS UPON RETURN
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item has extraordinary signs of use or damage other than what is described above, it is considered used. This means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item at the time of receipt - of the return.

In order to receive a full refund, the product must be in brand new condition: not used, broken or damaged.

We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may result in a decrease in the value of the item.

REFUNDS
If you cancel your purchase, you will of course receive a refund of the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a reduction in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount. When exercising the right of cancellation, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by us), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notification of your decision to exercise the right of cancellation.

Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, unless you have provided proof of having returned the goods by then.

COMPLAINT OPTIONS
A complaint about a product or service can be filed with the Centre for Complaint Resolution, at Mizzi House, National Road, BLATA L-BAJDA, Malta.

You can complain to the Centre for Complaint Resolution via the Consumers' Complaint Form for the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY
We need the following information when you shop with us: Name, address, phone number and email address.

We register and disclose the personal data that is necessary to be able to deliver the product to you.

The personal data is registered with HAUSDESLICHT and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted.

We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies only process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide adequate protection for your data.

You have the right to know what information we process about you.

If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it. For example, if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we need it. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law. Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping

If you need to update your shipping address, please email info@hausdeslicht.com right away with your order number and the correct address. While we strive to accommodate address changes promptly, we cannot be responsible for any errors in the shipping address provided.

Most carriers typically require around 48 hours to consistently update tracking information on the tracking page. Often, packages are simply delayed between stations, waiting to be processed for their next step.

If more than a week passes from the last scan date without any updates to your tracking, please contact us at info@hausdeslicht.com with your order number, and we will investigate further.

Returns

You have 14 days from the delivery date of your package to exchange or return items. All products must be in unused condition, have a sellable appearance, and remain unopened if they have seals. To initiate a return, please email us at info@hausdeslicht.com to request a return authorization number. You may use the original shipping box, provided the items are securely packaged for the return.

If you would like a return label, please note that the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total refund. Just a reminder— we offer free exchanges!
